Honda Accord Once Again named Car and Driver 10Best

What would a Car and Driver 10Best list be without the Honda Accord? We don’t really want to find out, but this year the question mark may have been a bit larger.

Spoiler alert: The Accord still made the list; but if you’re not familiar, Honda has changed things up for the 2023 model year so it was (remotely) possible the folk and Car and Driver might not still be love.

Historically the Car and Driver team has adored the 2.0-liter, 10-speed auto Accord Model. This year that model has been skipped in favour of a lineup that features a turbocharged 1.5-liter CVT and a hybrid model.

The good news is the new Accord is still amazing.

The new 11th-generation Accord has kept its fun-to-drive spirit, with the Car and Driver even noting that the Hybrid model almost gives the impression of sporty gear changing (maybe a placebo effect of how cool the Accord seems?)

The Accord can comfortably seat five adults, but the 2023 model also seems to garner compliments from the majority of those passengers. The new Accord has been refined inside and out to not only “feel expensive” but it now “looks the part now too.”

With a redesigned model that keeps everything that was great about the ride of the previous one; and an interior loaded with the refinement and features drivers and passengers actually want, The Accord quite comfortably remained on the 10Best list for 2023.
